There's no more suitable day than Schweppes Oaks Ladies Day for the last Morphettville heat of the competition, and it's only a week away - time to get outfit planning! Morphettville always sees Adelaide's most stylish out and about, and this will be especially true for the 2017 UBET Festival of Racing.
On Schweppes Oaks Day, the Fashion at The Races competition will be hosted in the Ladies Day event in one of the best spots on the track in the Moet & Chandon pavilion. The Ladies Day event will feature just about everything the ladies love about a day at The Races. There will be live fashion parades from BNKR and Tafe SA showing all the upcoming trends, visual artist Petar Prodanovic sketching your raceday outfit live (below), and the CLIQUE Beauty Bar for all your hair and makeup touchups with Media Makeup, Evo Hair and Clip Joint Salons.
The area will host the Fashion at The Races competition, which is open to all on-course to have their chance to win. Make sure to register from 11.30am on Schweppes Oaks Day in front of the Moet & Chandon Pavilion.
The competition has some incredible prizes on the day for the winners. The Best Millinery will win a $200 Evo Hair Prize Pack and a Blaax Timepiece, the Runner Up will win a $200 Media Makeup Prize Pack, and a $100 voucher for The Daily Edited. The Winner of the heat will not only win $1000 cash, but also a $100 voucher for The Daily Edited, a $200 2KW Bar and Restaurant Voucher, and will qualify for the State Final
It may be ladies day but there is also a chance for the gentlemen to win, with the Best Dressed menswear on the day winning a $200 M.J. Bale Voucher and a Blaax Timepiece. So ladies, if you're bringing a man along or spot a well dressed gent, make sure to have him enter on the day!
This is one of the last events of the competition, with only 5 left after Schweppes Oaks Day. Make sure to enter for your chance to qualify for the State Final and win some incredible prizes. To buy tickets to Ladies Day or other packages on Schweppes Oaks Day, head to the Morphettville website.
