The Fashion at The Races 16/17 Season has officially concluded, with the State Final judged this morning and the winners crowned for another year.
This year's panel of judges gathered at the beautiful Australian Fashion Labels head quarters, home of BNKR, to review the year's finalists and decide on a winner. The decision definitely wasn't easy, with plenty of deliberations had between the judges.
This year's panel included Miss Universe Australia 2017 Olivia Rogers, Millinery Ambassador Sylvy Earl, M.J. Bale Head of Brand Partnerships Susie Thompson, BNKR Head Stylist Jazz Mignone, and The Races SA Industry Marketing Manager Michelle Greene.
Winning the competition was Melbourne Cup Day at Morphettville qualifying event winner, Abby Von Duve. The Mount Gambier local had travelled to Adelaide for the big event, and impressed with her blush tone look. The judges agreed that her sophisticated and classic ensemble made her the deserving State Final winner.

Closely behind Abby was the Runner-Up Brianna Scanlon, the Winner from the Millicent Cup Qualifying Event. Brianna stood out with an eye-catching look, with beautifully matched accessories and perfect for the Autumn Weather.
For the Best Dressed Menswear, it was an incredibly hard decision with so many well dressed gentlemen from throughout the year. Ryan Turner, the Winner from the Kangaroo Island Cup, impressed the judges the most with a well put together look and perfect amount of accessorizing.
This year's inaugural People's Choice Winner was Demi Freer, the Qualifying Event Winner from the Clare Easter Races. Demi received the most amount of votes from the year for the People's Choice voting, making her a deserving winner.
