FATR Heads to Morphettville

Fashion at The Races has already travelled to country clubs around the state in the 2016-17 competition, with winners from Balaklava, Murray Bridge and more qualifying for the state final. The competition heads to Morphettville for the first of two Adelaide events on November 1 for Melbourne Cup Day.

Set at Adelaide's home of racing, this event is Justine 2015 Melb Cup
certainly not to be missed.

Last year's winner Justine Lundberg went on to win the overall 2015-16 competition, so we can't wait to see who takes it out this year.

The event will be open for registration from 10.30am - 12.30pm on the Champagne Lawns at Morphettville on November 1. Thanks to our great sponsors, there are plenty of prizes up for grabs at the Melbourne Cup Day Competition.

The Winner will win $1000 cash, a $250 voucher to spend at Burnside Village, a Magnum of Moët & Chandon, and automatic qualification for the state final.

The Runner-Up of the event will receive a Media Makeup Prize Pack and a luxurious $200 Endota Spa Burnside Village voucher. The Best Millinery of the day will win an Evo Hair Prize Pack with lots of goodies, and a beautiul Blaax timepiece.

Of course, we never forget about the gentlemen in this year's competition. The best dressed menswear winner will win a $200 M.J. Bale voucher to spend, a gentlemen's Blaax timepiece, and an amazing $500 Gift Pack thanks to Il Barbiere Adelaide, including a Muhle razor set, a gift voucher for a Hot Towel Cut Throat Shave, haircut and style at Il Barbiere, some beatiful men's grooming products, and a pocket square hand made by Adelaide designer Sixborn.

As you can tell, the fashion stakes are high on Cup Day! We'll be scouting around the course for entrants on the day so make sure to register and have a go. The competition will kick off at 1.00pm, with Channel 7 Weather Presenter and Fashion at The Races ambassador Amelia Mulcahy hosting the event.

The event will be judged by an expert panel who we are sure will have a tough decision to make, including Renee Billic, marketing manager of Burnside Village, Samuel Horgan, M.J. Bale Regional Manager, Jamie Reilly, fashion influencer and model, and Michelle Greene, marketing manager of Thoroughbred Racing South Australia.
