Winner Interview - Bordertown Cup

It was a sunny day down on the Limestone Coast for the annual Bordertown Cup, with plenty of entrants in the Fashion at The Races competition. With a broad range of styles, the judges had a hard decision to make, but the competition was taken out by Jen Marsh. The Regional Prevention Offcier at SA Country Fire Service from Naracoorte impressed the judges with her black and white look, with beautiful details like her butterfly heels and horse brooch. We spoke to Jen to find out a bit more about her. If you like Jen's look, you can vote for her to win the People's Choice Award here

Who is your winning look by?

My top is from Cue, paired with a Toni Maticevski skirt. I had a local dressmaker handstitch the original waistband onto the Cue top! I finished off the look with a black boater, pearl bracelet, horse brooch and vintage gloves.

Bordertown Winner

Describe your style?

Mostly a vintage look with a modern twist.

Favourite designer?

I’m a bit partial to Maticevski at the moment (usually out of my price range, but I have a couple of pre-loved pieces at the moment).

What do you love about The Races?

I am not at work and get to wear heels, they are usually family friendly (especially the smaller race days), and I have met a lot of lovely, like minded fashionistas through attending The Races.

What item of clothing could I not live without?

A stylish pair of high heels

Whose style do you love the most?

 Princess Mary and Princess Catherine

 Princess Kate

And your dream purchase?

Oh where do I start….hhhmmm in terms of fashion, something from the likes of Peter Pilotto, Mary Kantrantzou or Chanel.

The next chance to enter and win like Jen Marsh is Coonawara Vigneron's Cup at Penola on January 12, 2017. See you in the New Year!
