Right in the heart of the Limestone Coast is the Naracoorte Race Club, and the 2017 Minijumbuck Naracoorte Cup was the heart and soul of the town on Sunday February 12th. The windy weather didn't turn many away, with plenty of entrants in the Nutrimetics Fashions on the Field competition. We were delighted to award the win for the day to Virginia Ross, a Naracoorte local and long time entrant in the Fashion at The Races competition. Even better was that her beautiful daughter won in one of the kids categories!
We got some more information on Virginia and her winning outfit - there are a couple of days left to vote for her to win the People's Choice Award for the competition.!
Who is your winning outfit by?
My dress is from Chicwish, and the skirt made by my mum. Headwear is by Marsh Millinery, with my shoes from Ebay!
What brought you to the Naracoorte Cup?
Naracoorte is my home town, so we attend the Cup every year!

I try to be elegant and classy, and I love wearing lots of colour. Kate Middleton is my style icon!
What's your dream purchase?
An Alex Perry dress. He is my favourite designer!
What do you love about The Races?
I love catching up with friends, and seeing all of the beautiful fashion!
The next opprortunity to win like Virginia is at the SeaLink Kangaroo Island Racing Carnival this weekend, with the Fashion at The Races event on Saturday February 18! The event will be hosted by Channel 7's Amelia Mulcahy, with an incredible prize for the winner including $1000 cash, and a nights stay at the Southern Ocean Lodge with all expenses paid!
