What you need to know - Fashion at The Races State Final

Someone please start by telling us how a year has come and gone, and the 2016-17 Fashion at The Races Competition is almost over?!

It's almost time to announce the winner of the competition, who will follow on from the 2015-16 Fashion at The Races Winner Justine Lundberg (pictured). 

The State Final for this year's competition will be judged on Monday, 11th of September, and for the first time the Winners will be announced online. An expert panel of judges will be gathering at a special event to review the year's State Finalists and select the winnners. You may recognize a couple of the judges from the panel!

Olivia Rogers - Miss Universe Australia

As the 2016 Face of Spring Racing at Morphettville, Olivia is certainly no stranger to The Races or fashion. The stylish Olivia was recently announced as Miss Universe Australia, and she will be going on to compete against beautiful women from all over the World for the title of Miss Universe.

Jazz Mignone - BNKR Head Stylist

There's only one way you get to be the Head Stylist for global fashion house Australian Fashion Labels, and that's by knowing style. Jazz Mignone is the go-to for all of the BNKR brands to style photo shoots, celebrities and runways, making sure that every look is perfectly placed and has the ideal shoe, accessory and beauty matches. With an eye for complete ensembles, Jazz will be looking out for her favourite coordinated looks. 

 

Sylvy Earl - Fashion at The Races Millinery Ambassador

As the Millinery Ambassador for Fashion at The Races 2016-17, Sylvy's pieces have travelled all over the state on the heads of competition ambassadors Amelia Mulcahy, Jessica Adamson and Rosanna Mangiarelli. You may have also seen Sylvy's incredible work in the pages of Vogue throughout the year, at the 2016 Adelaide Fashion Festival, and on the runways of Melbourne Fashion Week. With an expert knowledge of millinery and how it coordinates with style, Sylvy will be looking out for her favourite head pieces and how they've been styled into a complete outfit!

Susie Thompson - M.J. Bale Head of Brand Partnerships

As Fashion at The Races' first menswear partner, M.J. Bale is the perfect style reflection of a day at The Races. WIth tailored suits, a plethora of patterns and colours, and the perfect accessory to finish any look, the M.J. Bale brand is an ideal match for Fashion at The Races, so Susie Thompson will be looking out for the best dressed man of the competition. Making sure to consider accessory choice, colour matching and overall style, Susie knows good menswear style!

 

Michelle Greene - Industry Marketing Manager, Thoroughbred Racing South Australia

As the Industry Marketing Manager of Thoroughbred Racing South Australia, Michelle Greene has seen plenty of racewear all around South Australia. From winter styles to summer looks, Michelle knows what makes a great racewear look, and always looks out for ladies and gentlemen dressing for their style and letting their personality shine through. 

 

The judges will gather to review the photos of each winner, and from there will select the Best Dressed Menswear, the Runner-Up, and the Winner of the Competition.

The People's Choice Award Winner will also be announced, with voting open for all finalists from this Sunday, 3rd of September, to next Sunday 10th of September. Make sure to vote for your favourite winner!

All of the Winners will be announced on The Races SA Facebook page at 11.30am on Monday 11th of September, to make sure to tune in to find out who has won this year's incredible prizes!
