This year, the Myer Fashions on the Field competition will enter into a digital age with their new photo based competition for contestants outside Victoria.
South Australia’s heat will be on Friday October 19 at the Murray Bridge Gold Cup.
Fashion photographers will capture the beautifully dressed contestants at the event, and the top ten from each state will be published on a specially curated website. At the conclusion of each event, a small panel of high profile industry professionals will select the State Finalist, Runner-Up and Second Runner-Up from the top ten contestants per state.
The winners from each state will then receive a 10 day trip of a lifetime to the 2018 Melbourne Cup Carnival to compete on stage in the Myer Fashions on the Field National Final on Kennedy Oaks Day.
This new and modern format will reinvigorate the iconic Myer Fashions on the Field and continue the tradition of the competition.
